I was nervous about my 2019 taxes thinking it would be a big complicated affair. Half way through the year I moved to Chicago from another state, sold my old home and bought a new one. Thought it would be complicated owing to the fact I would need to pay capital gains tax and state taxes in two states. Weiss & Thompson allayed my fears and made the whole capital gains tax process understandable and painless.

Because of my complicated situation, this was the first time I've ever used CPAs to file my taxes. I highly recommend them. Amy and George were knowledge, professional, friendly, and timely. As I said earlier, they made the whole process painless. I have complete confidence in their work. I certainly needed them. As knowledgeable CPAs, they arrived at a lower amount owed than I had calculated myself from my own research on the Internet. I also found their prices extremely reasonable.
