As someone who was not a current client, I scheduled a telephone appointment with MJ Huffman regarding a tax question that had me worried. She called me right on time, and she answered all of my questions in more detail then I had expected. I was quite reassured by the end of our conversation. Compared to a previous accountant we used in Helena, she was stellar. We are going to consider having Tompkins & Peters do our taxes in the future because I was so happy with the telephone consultation I had with MJ.

If I could give 10 stars I would! This Lady is one of the most highly professional people I have ever encountered. She is not only a very kind person but an easy person to speak to. The entire staff have exceeded my expectations. Mrs. Tompkins is a highly intelligent individual and knows a lot about tax laws. She was so helpful and really went above and beyond in assisting me. I could not recommend Dana enough. It is difficult to find a truly knowledgeable CPA in this city; but to also find one that is highly fluent in tax laws while treating the client like they matter, is gold.

We began using Tompkins & Peters CPAs over 20 years ago for all our tax returns. We have a small business in addition to my income, and the ins and outs of those tax laws are too confusing.
