Sue Voth owns V & R Accounting, Inc. in Quincy, IL. She has been in the tax preparation field for 30 years. Her firm prepares over 1500 returns of all types - individual, partnership, corporate and trust & estate. She specializes in small business tax planning. Kim started at V & R Accounting in January of 2011.

We would give this place 0 stars if that was an option. If you want someone who is attentive with details and focused on clients, this is not the Tax service for you. Our 2020 (2019 taxes) process was.fine. A little different from the smart tax expert we were used to, but thought we'd just stick with what we know. The 2020 taxes have been a nightmare.
Constant follow ups to them about their own processes. It all culminated today when Sue (the owner) blew off our appointment because she believed we didnt upload our documents. We sat on a zoom call for 45 min, called the office twice and weren't given a reason until 2 hours post-appointment that supposedly they didn't have our documents and that's why she didn't come.
We uploaded our documents over the weekend to their site, so unsure what that was about, but it is not an excuse to just ignore clients waiting on an appointment. We still have no rescheduled timeline. It's ok.it's only tax season. I'm sure there are plenty of CPA's available. Thanks for leaving us high and dry, V&R. Completely unacceptable.
