Over the years, many Permian Basin-area businesses have contacted us to help them get started with QuickBooks, empower them to manage their bookkeeping and control their cash flow, while enabling them to work with an Odessa and Midland area CPA firm in an advisory capacity.

If your a small business or a start up, this is not a good choice. In your consultation they will act like you matter, they will promise to take care of you and they will double review every return to insure complete accuracy. But in reality after they meet with you in January they will be too busy to take your phone calls, answer your questions and worse yet, they wont call you and ask questions before completing your return, they simply call you, say it's done then had you a $4610.00 billing statement.
The kicker, when you review and find an error, like not giving you the deduction for per diem when you told them you worked out of town! They will fix it and charge another $270.00 and claim they didn't know how many days you worked out of town so they just left it out. You would think, that if you pay someone 5 thousand dollars to do your books they would call you to insure they have everything, before they complete your return.
I am sure they do a great job for the big business partners in Odessa but for a small operation or a start up they really don't have time for you, well expect to take your money.

Our small business has been using Jack for many years and they do an outstanding job. I never have any trouble getting in touch with him. He always calls us to let us know what information he needs and when he needs it. I personally know of at least 3 other small businesses that also employ him and are very happy with his services.
