Not happy with the service recieved by tax preparer Liz. It took her a week to actually see the papers that were given to her to file my fiance's taxes. I'm honestly not sure if she would have called him back if it wasn't for the many calls to the office in order to get an update. Every single time he called, he got the same response, "Liz is in the room with clients." When she finally did call back, she was very short on the phone.

All she seemingly cared about was how he would like for her to send the document to sign. Any explanation she gave before stating she needed to end the phone call because she was too busy, she would state her explanations were based on doing taxes for so many years instead of individualized facts and information. The previous receptionist offered another tax preparer before Liz called my fiance back, I'm not sure why we didn't just get another tax preparer to help us.

If you are so overwhelmed with your work that the you become short and unpleasant with your clients, not willing to answer provide a breakdown or factual responses, then why not let another preparer take over the service? He was charged so much for such an unpleasant and rushed service. There was also an issue with him receiving the tax credit for medical insurance related to his tax preparation last year.

She also stated he was not allowed to apply donations to his taxes, for which he had a donation slip for. But I was told by my accountant that donations did not have to be itemized under a specific donation amount. Horrible service.

I have been a client of Soloway for 20+ years. They are knowledgeable, professional, efficient and friendly! The staff is wonderful and David Soloway is the upmost professional! I would never go anywhere else.

Denise is efficient, patient and kind, but most importantly, trustworthy.
