I have to write this, i barely or almost never give a bad review. My experience was horrible, i was shock honestly. First came in, walk into the second floor. I met this lady in her 40s or 50s, kinda curly blonde, with black frame glasses in the host area, she greeted me with her pouting face, and i explained that i wanted to talk to the CPA, just to ask the price and some advise.
She asked me what company are you? I said i just started a small company, and she said we were not interested in small company, come back here if you're a big company and left. I was like what? And she still pouting

We started with Porterfield and Company in March of 2016 when our previous accountant moved. We have two businesses plus our personal taxes. The staff was able to get our returns out on time and we were pleased with the end result. The fees are very reasonable. Any questions we had along the way were answered thoroughly and understandably. Wonderful experience. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff helped me to do my personal taxes and my new farm tax paperwork. Answered all my many questions, helped me plan for next year, and even found money that was being held by the state that was owed to me 7 years ago from a former employer! I highly recommend them.
