Miguel A. Palma is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Professional Financial Specialist (PFS) who has had his own practice in the Northern California (Dublin & San Jose) area since 1998. His firm provides tax minimization strategies, pension plan designs, as well as accounting to a variety of businesses. After graduating from college, he spent six years as an accountant with the national accounting firms of Deloitte & Touche and Price Waterhouse. In private practice, Palma assisted Levi Strauss and Company and their team of accountants through a series of private debt offerings and a restructuring of their worldwide operations.Miguel Palma served as founding Chairman of the Board of the Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber, founding Treasurer of the Hispanic Association of Realtors, founding Treasurer and President of the American Association of Hispanic Certified Public Accountants San Francisco and San Jose Chapters, (AAHCPA), respectively and its proud successor the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accountants (ALPFA).
Mr. Palma was chosen to serve on ALPFA's Executive Committee of the Board of Directors responsible for working together with the CEO and Corporate Advisory Board, its members work in private industry, public accounting, academia, government and regulatory organizations, especially throughout the significant changes executed by the Association during 2001. As a result of the bold moves initiated and implemented by the Executive Committee, the association officially changed its name to ALPFA, achieved a broader membership of students and professionals, and experienced tremendous growth financially, in active membership and chapters.

This company is a scam. They sent batch emails everyday and if you block them they change their email address and send another email with lots of long and suspicious links and attachments. A friend of mine had received same emails from them and had clicked on the link and a few days after that he received bunch of other emails and his inbox became full of scam emails. I also saw some reviews on google that a lot of people have mentioned that they are scam. Do not trust them.

This company added me to a mailing list using a business email address which I have not used to interact with them, spams me on a semi-daily basis, and has refused to honor unsubscribe requests. Clearly I am not their client, but this is a dishonest business practice and, I expect, may well reflect into other aspects of how they conduct themselves.

Must pay to get his bad reviews removed. He is so shady and does so bad on taxes I was audited by the State of California and the IRS. I wrote a long review back in 2016, but now its gone, look back at all his old reviews they are all 5 stars, not one is a 4,3,2 or 1. That proves how shady he is! He promised to save me money on my taxes and swindled me into getting a pension plan, probably for his commission, which was a bad idea since I had a 70 yr old employee and I had to cancel it later.
I also was purchasing a home and needed a letter for my Mtg co. from my CPA, since I was self employed and he refused to write it without me signing another year long contract with him and paying $15,000. I only have personal taxes and an S corp to do, that is a ridiculous price. Hope this saves someone the headache from using him.
