Roger came to Oakes & Associates in November of 2002. Roger attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University and the University of Oklahoma with emphasis in agronomy and accounting. Roger has many years of farming experience as he has operated his own farm north of Guymon. Janelle received a bachelor's in accounting and computer science at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
Oakes & Associates has years of experience in the tax planning and compliance areas. We continuously monitor events, which would impact upon the business or personal decisions of our clients. While the correct preparation of various tax forms is of utmost importance, the planning needed to preserve wealth is just as important.
James N. Oakes, Sr. graduated from the University of Arkansas in the class of 1954 with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and was a gold medalist when he took the CPA exam in 1957. He gathered his experience with the national accounting firm of Price-Waterhouse. James N. Oakes, Sr. moved his family to Guymon in 1962.
