Preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary clients. Clients can help by keeping organized records during the year. Tax planning should be addressed year-round, and we encourage you to contact us for assistance.
Bookkeeping is the most fundamental service we offer our clients. Keeping financial records organized, accurate, and understandable is imperative to the success of personal and business finances. The professional bookkeeping services of Mathis CPA & Associates, LLC provide important information for business and personal clients to use in managing their day to day financial affairs.
We offer payroll services that meet your business's needs and enable you to spend time doing what you do best--running your company. Since most small business owners spend an average of eight hours a month performing payroll functions instead of generating sales, improving products or services, or servicing their customers, this can be a valuable service to many clients.

I started working with Precious the beginning of 2020 right before the pandemic hit. My plan was to buy a home, because I was renting an apartment and paying way more money a month than I would if I bought a home and had a mortgage to pay. I had expressed this to her but said with my credit and just being laid off that's never going to happen. Now I wasn't irresponsible with my credit, I had never missed a payment up until I had a horrible accident where I was hit head on by a drunk driver in 2016.

Being off work, having co-pays I had not planned for and kids I needed to feed. I did what I had to at the time and used my credit cards. I had medical bills that were to be paid by the drunk driver that hit me insurance company, but pending litigation as they were so extensive that the insurance company just didn't pay. Precious taught me what I had to do, when to do it and how send letters to the creditors.

Following what she taught me, I was able to raise my credit from the low 500's to 720 (a score high enough that i didn't have to get Personal Mortgage Insurance, which adds several hundred dollars to your monthly payment). This woman is the real deal! I was able to say yes to the address with my new home!
