Well, not very far from where we were. And if you've known us forever, it will feel right at home. In November we moved to the Omni Building and are in Suite 101, just off the lobby, down the hall. Lots of easy parking (YAY!) but watch out for the geese and water puddles. If Mr. Google needs our actual address, it is: 909 S 336th Street, Suite 101, Federal Way, 98003. The due date can be extended. If you qualify for the stimulus payment, but did not receive it, it will be claimed on your 2020 tax return.
Hi! My name is Deah and I am thrilled to be working with these amazing women here at Lux & Associates! I have lived in the Puget Sound region my entire life and have made Federal Way my home since 2012. I began working at the age of 15 as a hostess at Azteca and haven't stopped working since. I have had many interesting jobs including a brief stint as a telemarketer in high school, but have mostly worked in an admin role until 2008 when I left my cushy office job to follow my passion and teach preschool!
Born in Minnesota and raised various places around the Midwest, I came to the Pacific Northwest with my parents when I was 15. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in business and accounting from Pacific Lutheran University in 1984 (go Lutes!) and am currently working to complete a Masters in taxation from Golden Gate University.
I am a lifelong Washington resident and have been a member of the Federal Way business community for over (yikes!) 30 years. I grew up in Longview, attended WSU, graduated from the UW with an accounting degree and earned a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. While I enjoy accounting (yes, even preparing and reviewing tax returns), what work has really became for me is an opportunity to spend time helping people take control of their business and financial lives, to be an advocate and a sounding board with no hidden agenda for clients and friends and to serve through mentoring and community activities.

I had a problem with the IRS, owing them over 120k. I saw another CPA that just got argumentative and started screaming during our meetings. It was just bizarre. Monna brought everything into perspective. She did not use fear tactics to keep our business. She has made a huge difference in the way we do business today. I highly recommend her consultative style and the peace of mind her experience brings.
