When we first moved to the Spanish Fork area we were pleased to work with Kim Peterson and after the sad loss of Kim, Russell Olsen. We have enjoyed working with everyone in the office for the past 35 years and have relied on them for all our financial and tax needs. We always trust that they have the best and latest tax advice and methods. Even though their office is extremely busy they always have a fast response to any questions and needs we have. Even after moving out of state, I can't imagine using any other CPA firm.

I have never left a bad review in my life yet, so this will be a first, but I was so in impressed with them. I'm a single guy no family, and no company and they charged me $550 to do my tax returns. I knew that was overpriced, but I didn't know till after they did it. Then 4 months later the irs contacts me and a few forms were missing. I contacted them back and they want $200 more dollars to complete a unfinished job.

Not helpful, not professional, very very unimpressed My parents who have been doing taxes with them for there company for years referred them to me. I'm gonna find them a much better place to go to do taxes

Great place to get help on your taxes. I bought a home and then sold it within 1 year. Russel helped me understand capital gains better to benefit my taxes!

I *thought* Jon Haderlie did a great job with my taxes the early part of last decade. It turns out, he and his associates failed to properly instruct me on closing the LLC and filing no tax due reports annually; nor has he cared to address this matter when contacted twice afterwards. So, I'm stuck paying hundreds in penalties because of his neglect. I, too, was sold on them "specializing in summer sales taxes, " so they should've known how to handle this matter.

David Loveless was the best. I called at 10:30 am and needed an emergency same day tax filing for our business and personal. I was unorganized and unprepared. He had me come right in and worked tirelessly on it. He even texted me throughout the evening to keep me updated and to ask for things I didn't give him. He not only got me a huge refund but found errors in the previous year's taxes done by someone else.

He was the best, so pleasant, so encouraging, and he really knows all the ins and outs of tax laws etc. I highly recommend him and will use him exclusively from now on. Best service I've ever received for anything. Staff at Larsen was GREAT too! So professional and kind. Love them!

My work with David was by far the most positive tax experience I have had so far. Not only was he willing to meet in person and go over the very specific details of our tax situation, but took the time to touch base with us over the course of the preparation to offer advice and gather more information to get us the best preparation possible. Following our tax preparation, I continued to rely on David for good advice and he was always ready and willing to give it. I count on him to be my expert when I have questions and he always comes through.

I work with David Loveless at Larson CPAs and he has been perfect for my business and personal finances. I work as a Financial Advisor and he understands the ins and outs of my industry and how taxation works. In addition to that he is always willing to answer my calls if I have a question or concern for the upcoming tax year. I would highly recommend that everyone give him a call.

Had Larson do my taxes for 2013, and my experience was as follows- I'll try to be as objective as I can in this review, as I have worked in customer service before and I know how it gets. Larson was recommended to me by a friend, and having worked as an independent contractor and having applied for medical school in 2013 I thought it would be worth it to use an accountant.

From the get go I was a little disappointed in finding that none of the money I spent applying to medical school was deductible, but I could live with that. I didn't feel like the accountant was all that helpful as far as applying school expenses towards deductions, but the real problem occurred when I was communicating with the accountant, and in one email I requested follow up on a medical school deposit question and mentioned that I would be looking for more deductions.

The correspondence stopped cold at that email. I was confused that the accountant did not reply at all, and figured this meant I had been dropped as a client. I found another accountant that completed my taxes and filed the return. I thought that concluded my business with Larson, but then I received an email from the accountant just several days before the tax filing deadline- over a month later- asking if I had found any deductions.

Soon after, I received a bill from Larson CPA in the mail. I emailed the accountant who said that while he was sorry for the miscommunication, I still owed the full price of the tax preparation and was told to call the office manager. After talking with the office manager I was told she would talk with the finance manager and call me back. A week later after not getting a response, I called the office and asked why.

I was told that she had called me back that same day, but I never received a call and there was no record of her calling in my call log. She was rude and condescending and insisted the whole ordeal was my fault and said things such as 'we don't like to bother our clients with emails about deductions'. To their credit, Larson did reduce the cost of my tax preparation by $100. I don't feel like the service level is worth what they charge for tax preparation, and a simple reply from the accountant would have saved both parties a lot of grief.
