I am a native of Tampa, Florida. My parents moved to Tampa from Michigan and Ohio when they were very young. I was a member of the charter class. There were only three buildings on the campus at the time and no grass, just yellow sand. We had to wear sun glasses to protect our eyes from the blowing sand and the glare. The campus has changed over the years.

From the humble beginning with around 1,800 students to today's more than 37,000 students, USF has become the second largest university in the Southeast and the 15th largest nationally.
Services
Accounting services provided by my office can vary from bookkeeping to auditing in specific industries. Most small business owners do not need audited financial statements because they are generally heavily involved in the day to day transactions of the business. Most banks are satisfied with compiled or reviewed financial statements on small businesses.
When it comes to taxes, no one wants a surprise. Since 1981, tax laws have been constantly changing. It is important for individuals and business owners to have an advisor that can lead them through the changes that affect their specific circumstances. We all have heard the saying, I didn't plan to fail, I just failed to plan.
I assist business owners and individuals in filing taxes each year. I prepare federal and state income tax returns for business owners and individuals. In Florida, we do not have a personal state income tax. However, new residents to our state generally have to file a personal income tax return with the state they have left.
I have appeared and been accepted as an expert witness on financial matters of publicly and privately owned utilities in rate matters before the Florida Public Service Commission and numerous municipalities and counties in Florida. I have testified as an expert witness on financial matters of publicly and privately owned utilities in Circuit Court and in Federal Court. I have prepared utility rate increase applications for utilities and have investigated utility rate increase applications prepared by others.

My husband entered more than a year ago during that time his treatment was excellent. there a syndrome was detected for which he was operated on everything was working perfectly until more than two months ago my husband's insurance communicated saying that there was a contract signed by my husband's company where they were covering 85% percent of his hospital stay that they had decided not to follow due to its high costs.

The insurance tried to reach an agreement between the hospital and them, to which the answer was that we, as a hospital, do not have to accommodate any insurance; they are the ones who have to accommodate our policies. My husband has not been treated for three months since his oncologist, who was always good but never let his cases be taken elsewhere, we sent him a message if he could refer us to another oncologist, he replied, look for the one that best suits you.

Now they only call us to ask when we are going to pay what we owe. With this, it is demonstrated that as a recognized hospital, they only care about your money before your well-being. If you do not have insurance that covers all the excessive costs, you are not a millionaire or you do not have someone to sign a contract to support you, do not waste your time there, you can die trying. they are more business than heart

I went to MD Anderson to visit my father in the ICU he was only allowed one patient at a time. This was fine and I told the front desk staff that I understood and would come back another time. The front staff also notified me that there was no way for them to know if his current visitor was stilll even on property if they decided to not check out.

So I stepped to the side and called the visitor in my fathers room to tell her to make sure she checks out so this wouldn't occur. As I was doing this the man at the front desk yelled at me to leave and pointed at the door. I was in Shock that this is the kind of attitude I came into contact with at "the best cancer hospital in America" the staff at MD needs to understand basic communication skills.

MD Anderson is saving my life and I owe them so much. The team of doctors, nurses, and staff have been unbelievably kind, gracious, and caring. My oncologist makes me feel safe - she genuinely cares about me and that means so much when you are battling cancer. The I cannot recommend MD Anderson enough - I have not had a negative experience at any of their facilities. My family has been thoroughly impressed by how kind everyone is, the comfort of receiving treatment, and how efficient they are. Thank you MD Anderson!

From the moment my father started treatment here to his death, the doctors, nurses and other staff have always been so compassionate and empathetic. Best hospital

I would give 0 stars if I could. Just a bunch of snobby doctors that wont give a second opinion if patients don't have the right cancer DNA! WOW, Number one cancer center is extremely debatable based on my experience. FYI, MD Anderson, even if it turns out your own second opinion is the same as the patients oncologist treatment it still helps patients give piece of mind knowing that there receiving good care. They are NOT ready and not helpful!

After experiencing terrible health care in my home state of Alaska for over two decades, MD Anderson Cancer Center has restored my faith in medicine. I had a great experience here. I will forever be grateful that I was able to travel to find the best medical care at MDACC.

So Im a frontline nurse who has survived covid (barely) last october. I took my mom here to see if she has cancer. The doctor was amazing. The problem I have with this place are the people at the very front entrances. When we were leaving and paid for valet I rolled her outside and she felt faint so I went back in to get her some water at the gift store.

I was yelled at in front of a crowd and told I could not come in that way. So, I went in again a few mins later the way they wanted me to and they said I literally could not turn left after the entrance to go to the bathroom and gift shop which were right there! They later admitted that THEY were wrong about this and I could (bc you would have to if you needed to get blood drawn etc) Finally, I told them about my mom and they gave us water but I still had to walk to another restroom and it turns out they were all wrong and I could turn left around the large desk. So, needless to say, I felt accausted and as a healthcare worker who survived covid myself when no one wanted to be in hospitals I am deeply offended by the manner in which they are screening people.

Their attitudes, they dont know their own policies, they are entitled because they are the gate keepers and that does not make this place look good let me tell you. also, Everyone just assumes you know where everything is and where to go.

Worst medical experience I've had in my 64 years on this rock. Procedures scheduled out of sequence, waiting hours past appointment times before being seen, refusal to diagnose or treat symptoms not directly linked to the cancer (my wife's cancer was growing fast, and started to pressure on her spinal cord causing massive migraine headaches. we were told to go to another doctor or ER for pain relief), the rude & idiotic door staff, misinformation on appointment location (MyChart said 1st floor near elevator G. actual location was basement), support staff escorting you to help you get to where you need to go that don't know how to get there themselves, and the list goes on.

Oh I'm sure the doctors know there stuff - but the rest of the experience leaves me with only one conclusion. I regret my decision to bring my wife here for cancer treatment and if there was any way I could go to another hospital without jeopardizing her health at this point in therapy I would in a New York minute.

Don't trust them, no matter how much they helped you. It started off great but over time they get bored of you and just stop trying to help.

This review is for the garden across from the hospital entrance. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with shade for walking and tables and benches for outdoor seating.
