John Brink, Jim Key & Kurt Kenyon left their previous firm to start Brink, Kenyon & Key, P.C., a firm that encompassed their vision of culture and values. At that time, they started out with 3 partners, 1 accountant and an administrator with an office located in Trestlebridge off of Kilgore & Lovers Lane.
The value we emphasize on relationships branches deep in our community. We recognize the importance of volunteering to help our community to grow. We encourage our employees to give back - whether its serving on a board or volunteering for something they have a passion in. We are active on over a dozen boards and volunteer over 700 hours annually with local non-profit organizations.

This company excessively charges clients exorbitant rates. I've had my business taxes done with them for several year & we always have to complain about unexplained, and excessive charges for a 2 rental home LLC. Several months ago, my Mortgage lender asked to have my CPA write a short email stating that our business was still in operation. I was charged $78 for less than 5 minutes of billable work---OUTRAGEOUS!
I called to complain & was told they would have the CPA call me back to discuss, but they never did. I would never recommend this CPA firm unless you are rich, and want to give your money away.

I worked with Jamie at BKC to complete my business tax preparations. When searching for an accountant for my business, Jamie took great lengths to understand what my business needs were and answer a panel of questions I had before we even engaged. Once our business decided to move forward with BKC, Jamie was swift, efficient, and very communicative when I had questions about the process. We have had a very good experience working the BKC, especially with Jamie Lettow our advisor. He is thorough, honest and diligent. He also does a great job of explaining all the tax law changes and digging to find us all the possible deductions and savings he can. We have been very happy with them over the past 5 years and plan on staying with them into the future.

My accountant at this firm is Jennifer Cote. She did a wonderful job with my business and my personal year end taxes. She even informed me on some things that I needed so I was able to avoid certain hassles. I highly recommend Jennifer Cote. My advice is go to Jennifer if you want your taxes done correctly. If you do, it will save you a lot of worry and you'll make it through tax season stress free.
