Stephen Joseph Soli, Sr., CPA, with over fourty years of experience in providing small and large business accounting services. Mr. Soli graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. For over three decades Steve has provided accounting and income tax services through his practice in Phoenix and subsequently, since 1988, in Green Valley.
Have you just started a new business? Did you know expenses incurred before a business begins operations are not allowed as current deductions? Generally, these start up costs must be amortized over a period of 180 months beginning in the month in which the business begins. However, based on the current tax provisions, you may elect to deduct up to $5,000 of business start-up and $5,000 of organizational costs paid or incurred. The $5,000 deduction is reduced by any start-up or organizational costs which exceed $50,000.

Black & Soli P.C. successfully handled my in-law's tax needs for many years. And, when my wife and I retired to Green Valley, AZ, we too decided Black & Soli P.C. would be our best option as well. This has proven to be true. Mr. Soli and his associates are professional, courteous, and supportive.

Two words: Never AGAIN. Edit: five months later. I now have a tax bill from the IRS because of an error from Black & Soli. The reason why their fees are so high is because they have an "error checking process." Nice error checking.
