Unscrupulous. Shady. This place is a racket (I cant even call it a "firm" as that would indicate some amount of legal & professional service which they do not provide) I was working with an attorney who brought in this "firm" as experts (what a joke). I was refused any updates, status or report. I was told per the agreement contract, their work remained private & I did not have the right to review it.

They never completed the job they were hired to do yet billed tens of thousands of dollars. Beware. Read the negative reviews, its easy to pay for positive ones! No one gets paid to write a negative review.

Appelrouth Farah is a great place to work! There's a real work-life balance that you don't get working at any other accounting firm. The company recognizes and rewards hard work. The pay is great and the benefits are even greater! The staff is professional and easy going. I couldn't be happier.

Horrible experience with Thomas Garland. Charged me more than I received on last years tax return. Said he would discount it by $50 and tried to back out of it by saying we needed to "prove" he said it. Luckily it was via email so we had it. Rude and unprofessional in emails, wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Horrible experience! This firm does not take ownership of their work. We worked specifically with Thomas Garland and requested that he help organize our bookkeeping using QuickBooks. He and his team did not do a good job and had misclassified many transactions which caused us to submit an inaccurate tax return. We are now redoing everything with a new firm.

When I challenged Appelrouth they blamed me because I signed off on the paperwork, I think its the tax professionals job to provide accurate paperwork to sign off on. Proceed with caution!
