Greg founded Adap Tax Financial in 2004 to innovate tax services by incorporating planning to minimum your tax burden. An outgrowth of this approach has been expansion of services to include comprehensive personal financial planning and tax-optimized investing. Greg is a practicing wealth manager, financial advisor and tax advisor.

We have an immediate need for tax preparer to join our staff of qualified Enrolled Agents and CPAs. Work will focus on individual tax returns including self-employed taxpayers and those with investment and rental properties; however, we also have substantial work in entities, trusts, estates and non-profits, as well as, international tax issues.
Adap Tax Financial offers full-service tax planning, preparation and representation for both individuals and businesses. My accountant retired so I was in need of a tax accountant Gary was referred to me by a friend. I'm so happy to have found such a thorough and professional accountant. From beginning to end the process was perfect. The office make sure to send emails and text messages remind me of appointments, etc. I would highly recommend Gary and Adap.

I had a terrible experience with Greg at Adaptax, and I'm sharing in the interests of warning others. The thing that most concerns me is that they seem to have a security glitch somewhere, which is incredibly scary for a tax firm. Greg started our taxes at the end of March. Fast-forward to April 11. I still haven't heard from Greg, and I'm getting nervous.
I email and call him. He finally responded on -- get this -- April 15th at 5 pm, telling me we owed $43,000. How is a 5 pm email *on Tax Day* considered timely and helpful? To make matters worse, the estimate wasn't even close to accurate (we owed $6k in the end). What a heart attack. I had to scramble and do my taxes myself on TurboTax that day so I could make an estimated payment.
But at least he filed for extension. In May, I received a worrisome email from Greg (see the photo I added). A few things were off: first, it went to my spam folder; second, it had a bunch of broken images; third, my browser flagged the link as suspicious when I clicked on it. Heart attack #2! I immediately emailed Greg and asked him to confirm what it was, since it looked like a phishing scam.
No response. I proceeded to send 3 more emails over the next month. Greg ignored all of them. He just ghosted. I don't know if this guy has checked out or what. All told, I lost a ton of time and money as his client. - he charged $130 for an intro meeting (?) - I had to do my own estimated taxes anyway - I had penalties over my estimates being incorrect - I had to find a new CPA and onboard with them Most alarmingly, it seems like something might have compromised their security, if a customer is getting phishing emails! Save yourself a headache and find a reputable CPA.

I am so happy to have found Greg of Adap Tax. It has been a difficult time for me, having recently lost my husband who was the financial wizard of the family. not to mention my heart, my best friend, my everything. Greg was sympathetic to my situation, kind in the way he dealt with me and my financials and incredibly knowledgeable. After a long search I finally settled on hiring Greg and boy am I happy I did!
I would recommend Adap Tax to anyone looking for a great tax accountant. He's also a financial planner as well which is extremely helpful, bringing his knowledge base to a higher level.

We have been using Monica Fey for our taxes for the last few years, and she just moved over here to Adap Tax this year. We followed her from her previous company because of how awesome she has been for us each year, dealing with out different ventures and needs for filing each year. This year was just as great as prior, she was quick and able to answer all our random questions on how we should be tracking things and made us feel as comfortable as she normally does. We will be back for sure!

Had my first meeting yesterday with Greg for our second year business and personal tax filing. He was prompt and immediately sent calendar invite for the meeting. He is attentive, will listen you very well and advise you what is best for your individual needs. I am excited that Greg with AdapTax has expanded his companies' offerings to also include comprehensive financial planning services. I found Greg to put more effort into our analysis than any other planner I have worked with in the past. Greg listened well, understood where we are in life, what our goals are, ranked them appropriately, and helped us develop a solid plan to get there.
One of the things I looked for prior to using Greg as a financial planner is that he is a "CFP", and has a "fiduciary duty" to put our interests ahead of his own. For years my family has used Greg (AdapTax) to prepare our small business and personal tax returns. I've always found Greg to be very knowledgeable, professional, down to earth, and have recommended him too many friends with tax questions, or need tax preparation services. Having our financial planner also to be the one doing our taxes allows him to know our "full situation". Greg has constantly provided us with sound advice based upon who we are, even accommodating some of our own priorities and strategies.
Every experience with Greg has been very personalized as he takes the time to explain his investment strategies and how they will help meet my families' short and long term goals. I find family life to be a very dynamic situation, and constantly changing. Be it a house remodel, new job(s), health issues, children going to college, then changing colleges, etc. Greg has continued to provide sound guidance to help me navigate important financial decisions as they arise. Having one place to go for taxes, financial planning, estate planning and retirement is great. Can I give more than 5 stars? I am so thankful these Yelp reviews led me to Greg at AdapTax. I've always prepared my own tax returns, and have been plagued with owing a substantial amount to the IRS each year. It's been a mystery to my why I always owe so much, but let's just say it has caused me to dread every April 15th. Last year I purchased my first home, so I knew filing my taxes would be a bit more complicated this year.
I decided this it was time to hire a professional.however, I made that decision only 2 weeks before the tax deadline, so I filed an extension with the IRS, with plans to wait until the busy tax season was over and I could then find someone I felt comfortable with. Well, it is now 4 months later I realized I was ready to face the music. I read a lot of reviews on Yelp & Nextdoor, and decided to call Greg at AdapTax.
I am so happy I did. Everything about the appointment was 100% positive. He was very accommodating, extremely courteous & professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. The appointment was not rushed, he was willing to answer any/all questions I had, and explain things to me thoroughly. And to my surprise I am getting a nice refund this year, which I am still blown away over.
His fee was affordable, and I am just so darned happy. I will definitely go back to him every year from here on, and I have already been singing his praises to people I know.

My experience with Greg was outstanding! As I am a new home owner (bought my townhome as of 2017), I had decided to get my taxes done by a professional. I searched high and low through Yelp to find a reasonable price in getting my taxes done. I had been doing my taxes for the longest time as mine was very simple but this year (2107) that I could miss out on some deductions and credits I can benefit from being a home owner.
He was a referral from good friend and I had decided to move forward with him. I could not been more satisfied as I got connected with him as he was very responsive and dedicated to assist me. He had emailed me an initial docs just to get an overview what I would need to bring over. I preliminary do/review my taxes via online software just to get a ball park of what I would get.
I arrived right on time for my appointment and came in with all my necessary documents. Greg was very thorough and explained a few key things that I had missed out during my preliminary with the online software. I was very happy that Greg was able to capture a few more deductions that I had missed out through the online tax preparation software. He explained thoroughly and professionally and answered my questions to my satisfaction.
He had also recommended a few things that I could benefit from and to balance my retirement portfolio. Overall, highly satisfied with Greg's knowledge and professionalism and I highly recommend him for any of your tax preparations and financial planning.

Due to some large investments, I was no longer able to file taxes on my own. After holding out all of these years, I finally bit the muffin and decided to get my taxes done by a professional. I searched high and low on Yelp and requested quotes from several businesses. Some responses I received were very vague and urged me to call their office directly.
Some were charging an arm and a leg, and others pushed me to their junior associates, which I did not want since I had a lot of questions and concerns. Greg from Adap Tax responded with a ton of helpful information and was very patient in answering all of my questions. His response time was always quick.
