We specialize in small business accounting and taxation. That means we're experts in everything from QuickBooks setup and training to day to day bookkeeping to monthly and yearly financial statement generation.

Since everything anyone in business does eventually finds its way onto a tax return, we look at everything from a tax impact standpoint. Keeping our clients aware of the latest tax law changes and informing them of the tax implications of their business decisions is a big part of what we do.

Then, we plan and prepare business tax returns accurately, professionally, and with the mindset that every number on the return could need to be defended some day.

For individuals, we offer tax planning and preparation services using the same high quality standards that we use for businesses.

And for everyone, should there be problems with a tax agency that needs resolution, we'll provide the best representation possible.

Products & Services

Accounting and CFO Services

Various

We do as much or as little as a client requires, including day to day data entry, cash management, bank reconciliation, and financial statement generation.

This is much more than simply entering data into software and spitting out financials. We take the time to make sure that the financials make sense: Where is the business doing well? Where does it need to focus? Are the statements in a format that are coherent and explainable? What are the trends? And on and on and on.

Tax Planning and Tax Return Preparation

Various

We like to work with our clients year-round so that we know them thoroughly. That enables us to prepare the highest quality tax returns with no ugly surprises. If you know what to expect throughout the year, then the tax return won't hit you out of the blue.

Business Analysis, Financing Presentations and Budgeting

Various

We specialize in tearing businesses down to their fundamentals. How does the company compare to similar companies in the same industry? Where can we improve?

We also speak fluent "banker". That means we can help you build a winning presentation for obtaining financing. Even in tough economic times, good ideas get funded, and we'll do our part to help you get there.

Need a budget? We'll create one for you and then track it to see how you are performing against that budget.

Taxpayer Representation

Various

We represent taxpayers before tax agencies. Tax notices are not always correct, and audits don't need to cause heart attacks.

We can help.

I'm now video-enabled! Even though I have a face for radio and a voice for print, video is the wave of the future. In this first installment, I talk about the new IRS mileage rates and discuss some good and bad elements of the proposed tax bill. Will

I would like to think that this isn't true. Have we degraded so much as a society that charitable giving is only done to get tax deductions? Yes, I readily admit that there are too many people out there who think that way. On the other hand, doesn't giving

I'm surprised. We have a new tax bill. I didn't think Congress could do it. It will take a few days to digest it, and I'll post commentary on what it means for you after I have some time to give it a thorough read. Meanwhile, it's very clear what people

Pardon the raspy voice...maybe I'm coming down with the annual cold. I had a chance to review the new tax law and my initial comments are outlined in the video. There is LOTS to discuss, and I'm sure that more little nuggets will be discovered along the
